What is ReCaptcha?

It is a CAPTCHA-like system designed to establish that a computer user is human, 
normally in order to protect websites from bots and, at the same time, assist in the digitization of books.

Install the Google ReCaptcha app (1st step)

Turn on the Google ReCaptcha application from two places, The account manage apps and then the marketplace apps, the account manage apps will install the Google ReCaptcha application to the entire account.

  • Go to Website Manager

  • Click on apps (account manage apps)

  • Next, click on the search bar or scroll down for the ''Google Recaptcha app''

  • Turn the application on

Install the Google ReCaptcha app (2nd step)

The 2nd place you are required to turn on the Google ReCaptcha application is from the marketplace apps,  this will install the application on the website you are working on only.

  • Go to Website Manager

  • Select websites

  • Select and click on the settings gear on your website

  • Click on apps (marketplace apps)

  • Next, click on the search bar or scroll down for the ''Google Recaptcha app''

  • Turn the application on

Create a Google ReCaptcha instance in a Google account 

  • You will need to have a Google account to do the next part

  • You should create a Google reCapcha instance with your google account

  • Click on this link to start - (https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin),

Copy site key and secret key

  • Copy the site and secret key to the Kademi's Google Recaptcha application settings

Find the settings function from Google ReCaptcha app to add keys

  • Go to website manager, then click on websites

  • Click on the setting gear on your website

  • Next, select the apps tab

  • Search for the Google ReCaptcha app

  • Click on setting so we can add the Site and Secret key.

  • Paste the SIte key

  • Paste the Secret key

  • Now that the keys are assigned, the key will link to google and protect your website.

How to add Google ReCaptcha app to your website 

The Google ReCaptcha application will only work when you have the K-ContactUs application installed from the marketplace on your website.

These settings will allow you to add users to groups when they use the contact us form

  1. Notifications group:
    The administrator group to receive email notifications of contact requests - this is the person who will receive the notification so you can respond to a profile user or request.
     
  2. Contacts group:
    The group to add new contacts to - this is where users who enter their details on the contact form from your website will be added to that defined group you assign
     

  3. Group Email Limit:
    The maximum number of administrators to receive notifications.This limit is to guard against accidentally disclosing private information.
    Do not increase it unless explicitly required.
